When: 8AM-finish
Where: Sidney Rec Fields; Recreation Drive
We’re looking for volunteers to come down to the Pits and help us get the facility cleaned up after a long summer full of baseball and softball tournaments and to get our fields ready for the soccer season! We will gladly sign off on volunteer hours for high school students who are willing to help. Many hands will make light work!
Work will include:
- Picking up any trash around the complex
- Taking down backstops
- Disassembling batting cages
- Putting out soccer goals
- Installing nets on goals
- Measuring out and lining fields
- Installing corner flags
- Inventorying soccer balls
In the Snack Shack, Sarah (our snack shack coordinator) will be running tutorials and doing walk throughs for any volunteers that would like to help out in there this season but want to know what it’s all about!
